We believe that our service is only as good as the quality of the team employed to support our clients, therefore we have a very stringent recruitment procedure that ensures we attract the best possible staff. Compliance is at the centre of our recruitment process and we have robust monitoring and alerting system to ensure that all our staff are consistently compliant. We also have a comprehensive training and induction program, for all our Staff covering all the important aspects of the Care industry.

• All our Support Workers receive regular support calls from the office team at the beginning of a new package of care, 3 monthly supervisions as well as annual appraisals.
• Each client has regular reviews, at least every 3 months which incorporate experience and satisfaction of the service. This enables us to ensure we are meeting the goals and aspirations of our clients and their support team.

• Here at Yes Care we have the experience and skills to work with children, adults and older people with a variety of care and support needs including; Brain Injury, learning disabilities, mental health issues, dementia, physical disabilities, offending histories, educational exclusion and alcohol/substance dependencies.

Support for various TBI and ABI cases

Concussion (‘mild’ injury).
A closed head injury (without skull break).
A penetrating head injury (skull fracture that effected the brain tissue).
Diffuse brain injury
Brain contusion (skull cracks or breaks)
Some of the cases are injuries that occurred at or since birth. an infection, tumor or stroke or even a medical accident.
Babies who also suffered brain injury at birth (cerebral palsy).

• We review our support plans and have regular consultations with our independent clinical Neuropsychologist who has extensive expertise in supporting people with life after a brain injury.
• When requested, Yes Care have the facility to bring together a full team of Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Support Workers to assist Case Managers to maximize their clients’ rehabilitation. We establish a consistent core support team to ensure continuity of services to maximize the client’s rehabilitation.
• We understand the medico-legal documentation requirements and the need to clearly highlight goals, challenges, and risks within a rehabilitation program.

We design our support packages on personalities, likes, dislikes, goals and ambitions focusing on what people can do rather than potential obstacles.

Our ethos at Yes Care is to provide the highest quality care and support possible, to mirror that of the highly respected hospice movement. This service has been designed to complement other palliative care teams and hospices often involved in the person’s end-of-life care.
